About the Fund

In over a decade of operation, the Kinross-shire Fund has made over 70 funding awards to more than 50 organisations.

We aim to support activity which will develop the vibrant life of the local community and ensure that the area is an attractive place to live, work and visit.

We believe that people who love their local community want to give something back – but seek the assurance that money raised in the area, stays in the area, and delivers benefits in the way it’s intended to.

Under the guardianship of Foundation Scotland, the Kinross-shire Fund ensures all applications are genuine and is able to monitor projects on an on-going basis, giving supporters assurance that donations are well spent and make a positive impact on our community.

Any group, club or voluntary organisation in Kinross-shire can apply for funding of between £500-£3000. Funding decisions are guided by a clear set of principles, themes and priorities. You can read more about these on the Foundation Scotland website, here.
